Actor 'The Rock' Stars as 'Davis Okoye' in new Sci-Fi Movie: RAMPAGE

Actor Dwayne Johnson (The rock) is starring in new movie "Rampage" which would premier in the cinemas today (13th April, 2018) in Nigeria.

In the movie, Dwayne (as Davis Okoye), is a primatologist who had a stronger love for animals more than humans. He rescued and adopted George, a rare Albino Gorilla from poachers when the gorilla was age 2. They had a strong friendship together, however, a wrong scientific experiment had caused some animals (including George) to metamorphose into giant creatures who then went berserk and there was rampage across North America.
Okoye teamed up with Kate, a geneticist, to secure an antidote and then set out on a mission to rescue the world, including his one time friend, George.

The Rock said he choose the name "Okoye" in order to pay respect to his all time NFL favourite player, Christian Okoye aka the Nigerian Nightmare.

ArchiBuilt 2018 (29th Edition) Date Announced

The date for this years ArchiBuilt (29th Edition) event has been announced.

The date was announced in "NIA Today", a monthly newsletter publication of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) of March 2018 - Issue 3.02 (page 34).

This years event is slated to hold from Monday, August 27th - Thursday, August 30th, 2018
(UPDATE: date has been changed! new date now 13th to 16th August, 2018)
VENUE: International Conference Center, Abuja, Nigeria.



If you are just getting to know about ArchiBuilt for the first time, here is a brief intro:

ArchiBuilt is an annual event hosted by the Nigerian Institute of Architects under the auspices of ArchiBuilt Development Services Limited (ADSL). The event is marked by workshop and exposition of different building materials and construction technology.

The event draws participants from various fields of the building industry both within and outside the country including students architects.
The last edition (ArchiBuilt 2017) featured for the first time a student’s design competition on the use of clay products for building sponsored by Ire Clay industries and a CAD competition sponsored by Costech CAD consults in conjunction with their partners AUTODESK & CHAOS Group makers of software such as AUTOCAD and V-Ray

How to re-print and Check JAMB 2018 Examination slip.

2018 JAMB candidates can now reprint their JAMB examination slip to know their exam center and exam dates. This years exams starts on Friday 9th March 2018 and ends on Saturday March 17th, 2018 and candidates have began to reprint their slips already.

There are two ways you can check and reprint your slip

• Check your registered email inbox.
• JAMB portal

1. Check your registered email: JAMB has began the process of sending notification email to all registered candidates with their slip attached. You can login to your registered email address and check for any new mail from JAMB. When you see it, open it and download the pdf slip that is attached and print out. However, the emails are being sent in batches by JAMB so therefore, your email might not have arrived yet. But will surely arrive. But if you don't have the patient of waiting, there is a more quicker and guaranteed alternative of seeing your slip which is by Login in to JAMB portal
2. Go to JAMB portal: Go to jamb.org.ng click on UTME 2018 EXAMINATION SLIP. On the page that loads, type your jamb reg number or email and check. Print your slip and see your dates.
